Code of Ethics
Anderson & Associates Financial, LLC in recognition of its responsibilities to the public, to clients, to colleagues and all entities with whom we conduct business is fully committed to the highest level of ethical conduct. Ethical conduct is the responsibility of each employee and associate.
Our service objective is based upon the following principles:
Integrity
Service shall be provided with the highest level integrity. The client’s best interests are always put first. Our “serve the client first” philosophy is practiced with the highest ethical and legal standard well beyond the minimums set out by Federal and State laws and regulations.
Objectivity
Professional objective service shall be provided to all clients. Conflicts of interest, either existing or potential, are disclosed openly and fully.
Competence
Competent service requires knowledge and skill which is based on the most current information and techniques available. Ongoing continuing education is required and monitored to assure competence. When outside expertise is required, referrals are made only to competent, proven associates.
Fairness
Services are performed in a manner that is fair and reasonable to clients, principals, partners, and others with conflicts of interest disclosed openly and fully.
Non-discrimination: Policies and practices of our services prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, and where applicable, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal, or because all or a part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program.
Confidentiality
All services are provided at the highest level of confidentiality. Client information will not be disclosed without the specific consent of the client unless in response to proper legal process. Provider’s proprietary information will be safeguarded.
Professionalism: Service shall be conducted in a manner which shall reflect credit upon the profession of financial planning.
Diligence
Diligence is the provision of services in a reasonably prompt and thorough manner. Diligence also includes proper planning for and supervision of the rendering of professional services. To that end, Sandy Anderson is a Investment Advisor Representative of ETEXfinancial, Inc. for which Tom E. Ricks, CFP®, President of ETEXfinancial, Inc. (Texas Registered Investment Advisor) serves as Chief Compliance Officer. Violations of our code of ethics will be handled with disciplinary action consistent with the infraction and with due process.
